Growing up on the island of Murano, Venice, surrounded by master glassmakers, I was fascinated from an early age by the magical yet dangerous world of glassmaking. It captured my imagination and never let go.
Although I had long been passionate about glassmaking, it was not until the age of thirty-two that I truly became a glassmaker. Today, while preserving the traditions and techniques of Murano glass, I continue to incorporate originality and innovation into my work, striving to bring the beauty and value of Venetian glass beads to a wider audience.
If you happen to see me at our shop in Kichijoji, at our atelier in Kyoto, or at department store events around Japan, please feel free to say hello.
Throughout the year, Maurizio Lotter participates in numerous events, including Italian fairs and accessory exhibitions held at department stores across Japan.
In addition to Maurizio Lotter’s original necklaces, which are usually available only at our shop, we offer a wide selection of accessories handcrafted with Venetian glass beads. Visitors can also enjoy live demonstrations of accessory making.
For the latest event schedule, please visit our NEWS page.
We also welcome inquiries from businesses regarding event participation and collaboration opportunities.
